Shaffelburg to attend National U-17 camp

Zack Shaffelburg, Port Williams, Nova Scotia (Valley United) has been selected to attend the Canadian National Under 17 Camp in Mexico next week (See below for details). Zach, a member of the 2009 SNS Canada Games team is currently in his second year of a full scholarship at Premier Soccer Academy in Ohio, USA. This academy is owned and operated by legendary US goalkeeper Brad Friedal. He also plays for the Columbus Crew Academy program. Prior to going to the US, Zach was a member of Valley United Under 16, Soccer Nova Scotia’s provincial program and NTC – Atlantic. Everyone at VDSA wishes Zach the best on his quest to represent Canada in World Cup qualification next year.
